Michele offers guidance to individuals seeking support with life’s challenges. She specializes in providing a safe space where her clients feel understood and accepted exactly as they are.  Her Doctorate in Law and Master’s in Clinical Psychology provide the backdrop of knowledge about the human experience.

Michele’s first career in law opened her mind to analytical thinking. She knows first hand the stress and unique challenges to working in corporate America. She has helped many in the legal field and other related professions cope with overwhelm, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.

Michele specializes in transforming relationships in couples counseling. Couples counseling serves as a bridge for healing, understanding, correcting and deep listening. Michele Hahn is trained in Sue Johnson’s Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) – the only model of couple’s therapy that uses an empirically validated theory of adult bonding as the basis for understanding and alleviating relationship problems. EFT helps people better understand both their own emotional responses and those of significant people in their lives.  In couples work, it’s possible to rediscover joy of being together, deepen communication and resolve conflict.

Working with individuals to resolve inner and inter-conflicts is another specialty. When you struggle with discomfort in a relationship, stress and anxiety, negative self-beliefs, career challenges, inability to move forward with life or simply have lost track of your goals and dreams, Michele will support you in making positive changes to transform struggles into healthy, more functional ways of being. You will gain freedom, experience growth and make life-long changes so you can easily connect with others, create satisfaction in your career, experience joy and happiness in your relationships. From feeling stuck and discouraged, individuals gain clarity and move forward.

Michele brings her life experience and professional training with a compassionate, non-judgmental spirit to her sessions with teens, adults, couples and families.   She can be reached at (424) 645-7776.
